Stephanie's Dream date, legal smoking and treasure hunts

Okay so I suppose its high time for me to tell you guys all about the turtle river...sigh.
So there's this mini bridge like the ones in clear lake that separate our dorms pretty much from the rest of the city. Under the bringe is this semi-gross river/stream that regularly is filled with algea, trash and mud. But also about 20 (no shit) turtles. one of which is a big around as I am tall and could eat a small child.
The other day as I was watching the turtles there was this guy a few feet away from me telling some other girl all about the turtles like he was the authority on turtles. According to him, there are close to six different species (not types, species) of turtles in the stream and some of them will not be here in the winter ext. ext. all I remember is that a couple of the turtles are snapping turtles (they are the cutest ones cause their heads are round and their paws are big), they are used to being fed lettuce by passer-bys, and also thinking that Stephanie would have loved this guy. The could go have a picnic by the river and throw left over sandwich lettuce to the turtles together. XD

Another thing, In Savannah there is a strict rule that no can smoke within 20-30 feet of a college or historical building. Well that kind of makes life hard for smokers cause about 90% of the buildings here are either historical or SCAD owned. But there is this huge bridge that separates one of the bigger dorms from the smaller two that just happens to be big enough to be considered a legal smoking area if you are standing right in the middle of it. just imagine for a second that there are at least 200+ students here that smoke and most of them like to do it in groups at about 6:30. Not being a smoker imagine having to walk across that bridge at 6:45. :P

Okay last thing I promise. Today I found this weird antique shop that looks like its either closed or has been repossessed on a daily basis. Well turns out that place is the most crazily cluttered place I've ever been. More so even then most antique stores. There are literally boxes over flowing with jewelry/watches/pins/shit I don't even know everywhere. But if you really dig down through it there's good stuff at the bottom. I left with tthree broken clocks, a pretty rienstone bracelete (better than the one my ex gave me btw), a hair pin, a letter R letter opener (R for READ ME!!!) and a little metal cat shaped box. Its was like a treasure hunt...or the prize chest at the dentist's office. :D

  1. paha. Stephanie's dream boy. And also, I don't think turtles have paws. I don't know what you would call their feet, but paws sounds like a mammalian thing...whatever.

That sucks. Smoking is gross and smelly. lol.

That shop sounds amazing...for Christmas presents for everyone, you should just go in there and buy something random and cheap for each person haha.
